“This game sucks and is a conspiracy”
Welcome to Arcadian Rhythms. We are your hosts. We would have waited an eternity for this.
We like to play games. We like to talk, rant, expound and ramble about them. We are a fun-loving, quasi-intellectual bunch of gamers and writers with so many opinions we just had to share. We slip through our days in arcadian rhythm.
We also run a podcast. This usually involves drinking and laughter: we recommend listening with similar accoutrements.
(Our Twitch channel isn't very regularly used - our Facebook page will notify when a stream is planned.)

Another month, another ink-smudged entry in our dream journals.
If you’ve ever wanted to powerslide through your favourite songs, this is the game for you.
Shaun and AJ with some assorted thoughts on the month that was. Videos, pixel art, characters and systems, podcasts and positive change, Kickstarter, free to play and what we’ve been up to elsewhere. Busy busy!
Come, let us embroider the tragedy of war across the tapestry of the cosmos. Our children’s children shall sing songs of our suffering.
Take a short walk through a child’s memories, and think upon two childhoods.
It’s our first ever video review. Ironic, given the last thing Shaun wrote on here, we suppose. But ignore that and give this lovely indie rhythm/music game a chance, eh?
It’s like ten thousand knives when all you need is a knife that doesn’t break.

Posted on March 25, 2015 | No CommentsShaun, AJ and Potter went to Rezzed and played some games. I know, right?! They also collared a special guest to help them discuss some of what they saw.
Posted on March 20, 2015 | 4 CommentsEven the most crude, empty games can prove interesting when you look at them in a broader context. But does that make them worth your time?
Posted on March 13, 2015 | No CommentsIt's the first ever board game article here on Arcadian Rhythms! Don't worry though, we still lean toward the video / computer variety...
Posted on March 6, 2015 | 5 CommentsOn some of the games industry's shitty employment practices: crunch time and job insecurity.
Posted on March 3, 2015 | 15 CommentsBecause Arcadian Rhythms wasn't already known as a bunch of grumbling pricks. What are we going to complain about next? Do we even like games?
